Chch-Greymouth-Glaciers-Queenstown-Christchurch Tour

Itinerary 2

Day 1

• Tranz Alpine Train to Greymouth.
• Thrillseekers Jetboat ride (10 minutes duration but that is plenty!)
• Greenstone factory visit.
• Bonfire on the beach at you accommodation with BBQ Dinner .
• Hostel accom. in Greymouth.
  

Day 2

• Breakfast.
• Taniwha Blackwater Cave Rafting or white water rafting.
• Transport to Fox Glacier visiting on the way:
  • Bushmans Centre & learn to throw an axe & use a pitsaw as in the pioneering days.
  • Mirror lakes & giant Matai tree.
• Franz Josef Glacier, viewing from walking track for photos.
• Dinner & Hostel accom. in Fox Glacier (the glacier that we walk will be determined by weather & glacier conditions at the time.)
  

Day 3

• Breakfast.
• Lake Matheson Alpine Mirror Lake Walk.
• Guided glacier walk.
• Beach walk and goldfields trail to seal colony.
• Dinner & Hostel accom. in Fox Glacier.
  

Day 4

• Breakfast.
• Transport to Queenstown (ZQN).
• Visit a penquin colony (penquins not always there.)
• Do some short waterfall walks.
• Ships Creek Coastal Rainforest Walk.
• Puzzling Place Visit (Entry to Puzzle room is free, Maze & illusion area have a small extra charge.)
• Crown range road with Unimog.
• Dinner & Hostel accom. in Queenstown.

Day 5

• Breakfast.
• Town & around tour on foot.
• Gondola & luge.
• Earnslaw cruise.
• Maori Hangi Dinner & Cultural show.
  

Day 6

• Breakfast.
• Drive to Christchurch Airport. This will be a long driving day.

Price:

This tour has a budget of NZ $1000 pp. This has a minimum of 30 paying people, and includes GST and 2 free of charge staff.

Cancellations: Tours paid for and cancelled within 30 days of or during travel will not be refunded under any circumstances. We recommend you have travel insurance & can arrange this for you.
